The questions we are asked most often, answered plainly.
Is everything genuinely handmade?
Yes. Every piece is made by an artisan or a small artisan cluster we work with directly — potters in Bengal, weavers in Kutch and Nagaland, woodworkers in Saharanpur. Nothing is mass-produced, and nothing is bought off a wholesale floor.
Why do two pieces of the same design look slightly different?
Because a hand made them. Glaze pools differently, weave density shifts, grain runs its own way. We consider these small differences the most valuable part of what you receive.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Ready pieces dispatch in 3 to 5 working days and typically reach metro addresses within a week. Made-to-order pieces take longer, and we always write to you with an honest timeline.
Do you ship outside India?
We do, on request. Write to info@homaatelier.in with your address and the pieces you would like, and we will quote freight and duties before anything is charged.
Can I return something?
Unused pieces in original packaging can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery. Write to us and we will arrange the pickup. Damage in transit is always replaced or refunded in full.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards, UPI, net banking and popular wallets are accepted at checkout through our secure payment partner. We never see or store your card details.
Do you take custom or bulk orders?
Yes — for homes, studios, hospitality projects and gifting. Share your brief at info@homaatelier.in and we will tell you honestly what is possible and how long it will take.
Are your materials sustainable?
We work with clay, jute, madur kathi, water hyacinth, cotton, wool and responsibly sourced wood. Packaging is recycled and plastic-free, and several of our Revival pieces are built from salvaged objects.
How do I care for what I have bought?
Each material has its own rhythm. Our Care Guide covers terracotta, ceramics, natural fibres, handwoven textiles and wood in detail.
