Shipping & Returns
How your pieces travel, and what happens if they need to come back.
Made Slowly, Sent Carefully
Most pieces leave our atelier within 5-7 working days. Some are made to order, clay must dry, a loom must finish its run and those take a little longer. If a piece needs more time, we write to you personally with a realistic date.
Delivery Across India
We ship pan-India through Shiprocket and its partner couriers. Metro addresses usually receive their parcel in 5-7 working days; smaller towns may take 7 to 10 working days. A tracking link reaches your inbox the moment your order is dispatched.
Shipping Charges
Standard shipping is complimentary on all orders above ₹5,000. Below that, a flat contribution of ₹250 is added at checkout. Bulky items such as floor rugs and pouffes may carry a small additional handling fee, always shown before you pay.
Packaging
Everything travels in recycled kraft, unbleached paper wadding and cotton twine. Ceramics and terracotta are double-cushioned. We use no plastic filler — only material that can return to the earth or be used again in your home.
Returns & Exchanges
If a piece does not settle into your home the way you hoped, write to us within 7 days of delivery at info@homaatelier.in. Unused pieces in their original packaging can be returned or exchanged; return shipping is arranged by us and deducted from the refund unless the fault is ours.
If Something Arrives Broken
Handmade pieces travel long roads. On the rare occasion something reaches you damaged, send us photographs within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it or refund you in full.
The Nature of Handmade
Variation in texture, colour, glaze, weave density, grain and tone is not a defect, it is the signature of a human hand. These natural differences are not eligible for return, though we are always happy to talk you through what to expect before you order.
International Orders
We ship internationally on request. Write to info@homaatelier.in with your address and the pieces you have in mind, and we will send a quotation for freight and duties before anything is charged.
