Flowing Earth

This cushion is a refined expression of contemporary Kantha, where flowing organic forms replace traditional figurative motifs. Inspired by the undulating rhythms of sand dunes, river currents and wind-shaped landscapes, the composition unfolds in graceful, intersecting curves. Every colour field is meticulously filled with thousands of hand-worked Kantha running stitches on a cotton base.
