Jamdani Blossom

The smallest Jamdani motifs often carry the greatest sense of poetry. This delicate buti is woven directly into the cloth using the traditional discontinuous extra-weft technique, preserving a craft that has been handed down through generations of master weavers. When illuminated, the weave reveals its complexity. The fine cotton becomes softly translucent while each handwoven motif gathers light in its own way, appearing almost weightless within the fabric.
